Motonori Higuchi is a centre back for Seikan High.
Appearance
Higuchi is tall, almost as tall as Kiichi Ooshiba when they first met. He has short black hair and wears glasses with a half-frame, even in games.

Leaping ability: He out-jumped Ooshiba in a corner clearance by using him as a springboard.
Mind Games and Trash Talk: Out of all players in Seikan High, Higuchi initiates trash talk, to the point that Ooshiba had the urge to punch him, but he does apologize and is still a humble and gracious loser when the team loses.
Powerful tackles: When he fouled Jin Kazama, he thought for sure that he had broken his right ankle.
